It's SO hard working up a preview from a wedding when you're friends with the bride & groom because I just end up wanting to include everything, especially on a day as gorgeous, romantic & joyful as this one. Their wedding was everything a wedding should be; the best combination of joy & laughter, along with a few sweet tears & tender moments. One of the stapes of Washington weather is it's indecisiveness - one minute its sunny, the next its pouring rain. It painted the day in an enchanting blend of dark moodiness, and warm sunbursts - one of the coolest things about the PNW. The day felt as unique as them in the most perfect way. Every detail was thoughtful or sentimental, from the bride's heirloom ring with a custom band, the mantle piece hanging on their arbor including a set of antler's from her grandfather's cabin (where he proposed), the handmade knives the groom made for his groomsmen and so much more. I love a wedding that feels more like celebration of their lives & their love more than just an event. Like I said, it was perfect.
